Meet Debbie Hoffman

It’s difficult to describe what Debbie Hoffman does for her clients.  Passionate about putting everyone she meets in a better health and wealth position, it is a natural fit that Debbie now assists those looking for insurance solutions during the ‘experienced’ part of their lives.  As an independent insurance agent, she guides clients through the Medicare, ObamaCare mazes, and because of her financial planning background, Social Security options.  Because of past personal family experience, she has a passion for designing strategies for long term care funding alternatives to preserve estates.   She doesn’t look at working in the insurance field as a job, it’s truly her mission.

Debbie is originally from the New Orleans area and currently resides in the SouthBay.  Her greatest source of pride is her daughter and two granddaughters and many times she can be found chasing after them at the playground.

She loves spending time with friends, concerts in the park, traveling the world and enjoys giving back to the community in numerous capacities including raising funds for various charities such as the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House and the Redondo Beach Center for Spiritual Living as well as taking leadership roles in the community.  

Her clients call her by many names…Medicare Guru, Financial Angel, Life Coach and my favorite, HIDAKI (Hunt It Down And Kill It) but ALL call her ‘friend’.

Meet Oscar Garcia

Independent Insurance Agent

Oscar Garcia brings a wealth of expertise with particular strengths from his tenure in education, corporate finance, administration, the arts and creating two companies. This background provides Oscar with the understanding to look at an individual’s objectives through a variety of different lenses.

Oscar is a creative and seasoned executive with most recently over 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, and consulting. A native of California, raised in the South Bay, he began raising money for the Ronald McDonald house at the age of nine and is currently the Executive Director of Los Angeles Challenge.

He received his Bachelors in Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Oscar is an advocate for the arts, working hard to ensure that children receive arts education throughout their academic careers. He enjoys photography on a daily basis and is an archer.

Meet Melinda Gann

COO, Independent Insurance Agent

Melinda Gann spent over 8 years in the medical industry where she got to see first hand clients experience walking through medical issues including dementia, hospice and chronic health issues. Melinda is an expert in the areas of home health care, geriatrics, hospice, long term care and advance care planning; she frequently speaks on such matters and has also worked with police departments, attorneys and other professionals on specific cases.  She has advised families on issues of elder abuse, complicated family dynamics and medical and legal concerns. As an independent insurance agent, she is an asset to our clients, providing guidance and expertise in how these issues effect their health and life insurance decisions.

Melinda’s career includes creating marketing and communication strategies for organizations including PBS, Salvation Army, and Queen Mary.   Giving back is a big part of Melinda’s life purpose and has helped to raise funds and awareness for many causes through Assemblyman David Hadley’s Senior Advisory Committee, ALS – Walk to Defeat ALS Committee, California State University Fullerton Alumni Mentorship Program, Las Vecinas Women’s Club, Peninsula Seniors Board of Directors, Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneurs Academy, and Torrance Chamber of Commerce.

Melinda holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. In her spare time, Melinda spends time with her family and friends traveling and attending events. Music and dance are a huge part of Melinda’s life. She has been taking dance classes since she could walk.

Melinda resides in the South Bay with her dog Frankie, who is Hoffman Insurance Resources’ Mascot. “Leave a Positive Footprint Wherever You Go” is Melinda’s mantra.

Meet Linda Hirsch

Independent Insurance Agent

Linda Hirsch’s banking business experience, led her to becoming a successful licensed insurance agent since 2013. She enjoys uncovering her clients’ unique situations and bringing them the ideal health plan benefits to match their needs. Being knowledgeable and having a keen attention to detail, she’s an objective advocate for her clients.

A native of the Los Angeles area, Linda graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UC Irvine. She loves dancing, traveling and supporting various worldwide medical research, national food banks, and pet rescue charities.
